Every transaction we underwrite goes through Card Connect, a fully Fiserv-owned processor with a registered ISO/MSP relationship at Wells Fargo and Fifth Third. Card Connect provides the gateway, tokenizer, hosted payment page, and the underwritten merchant account itself. Their compliance terms are what appear on our Legal page.
Clover is a Fiserv brand — same parent as Card Connect — which means we can provision a Clover Mini, Flex, Station Duo, KDS, or Kiosk against your merchant account in a single deployment. Best for retail and restaurants where the operator wants a turnkey POS.
Pax terminals run Android with an open SDK — so your in-house app, CRM, or custom checkout can drive the device directly. We pair Pax with Card Connect’s open API to skip the Clover App Market tax when your software stack is the differentiator.
Fiserv is the publicly traded financial-services and payments holding company behind both Card Connect and Clover. They’re the licensed entity carrying the regulatory weight — Data Plus operates as an independent agent under that umbrella, the same way a real-estate agent operates under a brokerage license.
You sign the merchant agreement with Card Connect — that’s the regulated entity that holds your account. Data Plus is the agent that built the relationship and that you call when something needs to change. Funds flow direct from the sponsor banks to your account; commissions flow direct from Card Connect to us. There’s no middleman holding your money.
