About

One team that owns the whole payment stack.

Data Plus is an independent agent of Card Connect, a Fiserv company. We pair Card Connect processing with Clover or PAX hardware and custom integrations — all from one team, one bill, one number to call. No referral fees, no markup layers, no surprises on your statement.

What we believe

Honest numbers. No middleware tax.

01

Your statement should explain itself.

Every line on a merchant statement has a name and a reason. Interchange is set by Visa and Mastercard — we can’t move it. Our margin is the only number that’s ours to set, and we put it in writing before you sign anything.

02

One team for processing, hardware, and integrations.

When your terminal goes down at 6 p.m. on a Friday, you shouldn’t have to call three different companies. We handle the merchant account, the Clover or PAX device, and the connection to your CRM or books — and there’s one number for all of it.

03

No middleman holding your money.

Funds flow from Card Connect’s sponsor banks — Wells Fargo and Fifth Third — straight to your bank account. Data Plus never touches your settlement. We earn a commission from Card Connect, not a cut of your deposits.

The team

People who know payments, not just pitch decks.

Marcus Vélez
Founder & lead agent

Marcus started Data Plus after nine years working inside an ISO, where he watched merchants get locked into opaque flat-rate contracts. He built this agency around the idea that every merchant deserves to see exactly what they’re paying and why — before and after signing.

Dana Cho
Integrations engineer

Dana connects payment data to the tools merchants actually use — QuickBooks, Square Appointments, WooCommerce, custom ERPs. She’s the reason a new Clover installation at a 12-location chain can sync with a legacy inventory system the same week it ships.

Priya Nair
Merchant onboarding

Priya guides new merchants from signed agreement to first transaction. She manages underwriting documentation, hardware shipment, and the first-week check-ins that prevent the problems that make people leave processors. Average time-to-live on her accounts: six days.
